Ha Ha, I need to be more Committed

Well two months later and thousands of blogs behind Shannon here we are. These last few months have been fun watching the boys grow up. Malique just turned three and he had a small birthday party. It was a lot of fun. My mom did not have time to wrap his present, so she gave him money, (note to all a three year old could care less about money, WHERE ARE THE TOYS). We have also learned that since the wheather is getting nice all the boys are going to do is play outside every chance they get. Mekhi loves the water and loves to hang out with his cousins. The glasses Malique has in the second pic are from a Gift of Sight Mission I was helping prepare for aren't they fabulous. See you guys soon.

Someone save us

What up Party people, It's Damon and Summer in the place to be, Kickin it and chillin so righteously. We changin diapers while watchin Dora and swipper, okay i can't rap. Life is good, except for the fact that Malique knows more than his parents. His favorite word is WHY, everything is why. WHY this, why that. But you will be happy to know that I was informed this morning by my son that and I quote from the mouth of a toddler, " THere is no use talking to you daddy, you are so mean, I want mommy she is nicer than you." I guess there will be no cool points for me today. Anyway, we are all happy here. It is so much fun watching these kids grow up and gain there own personalities. Of course according to Summer every ten minutes there is a fight over a toy of some sort. But Mekhi is only three pounds smaller than Malique so it has become an even battle. Oh, in case you are wondering about Malique's new hair did, Thank Summer for that. In an effort to quickly cut his hair before we went out, she did not realize that she had not put the guard on the clippers and she started cutting. I think it looks fine, but poor Summer cried for ten minutes before she was okay with it. LOVE TO ALL. PS we have now repainted our living room. KITchen is next.

Don't worry we are still alive

Greetings from the land of ridiculous snow. Okay please give me a minute to rant and yell about the snow this year. I know, Iknow we are in Utah in we live in the mountains, but why, why has God deemed it necessary to make sure that every time I look out my window it is snowing. Maybe this is payback because I made fun of the Bischoff clan when it kept snowing in Boston. Don't people know I don't do well in the cold, I AM A TROPICAL PEOPLE. Okay I am done with my rant. The family is doing outstanding, Malique is now in charge of the house (so he thinks). He is becoming so intelligent and so self sufficient. And by the way he repeats everything we say, always at the wrong time ie: repeating what daddy said about the utah driver who cut him off while we are having dinner with grandma. Mekhi is turning into a little terror incognito, he has that little smile that he uses to hide the fact he just knocked all the eggs off the counter and all over the floor. Summer is doing well she is holding down the fort while I slang the most expensive glasses in the country. She has made HGTV her favorite station, which means home improvements on our apartment. So if anyone needs a bathroom redone HOLLA. If you pay for the flight, the gas, and food and lodging we will redo your bathroom HA HA. okay I am out like James's bumble bee boss shirt.

The Beginning Of A New Year

It's 2008, And the year has started off good. The kids have all these new toys to play with, and to drive Mommy nuts with. You know all kids toys now a days are noisy and have a million parts to pick up. But hay, at least they are having fun, right. We have been getting pounded with snow that past couple of weeks. And this morning was the worst. We tried letting the kids go out and play in it, but poor Mekhi could barely walk in it so he was not too happy. Malique loved it though he thinks is so funny to hit mom and dad with snow balls. Hope everyone is doing good.

Christmas in West Jordan

Merry Christmas everyone. We just finished opening the gifts from Santa and already the fights have started. We made sure to play into the whole Santa thing, we made footprints left cookies and even reindeer food. Malique is finally at that age where he really believes in him. Unfortunatley Mekhi was not felling well today so he does not look to happy today. For some reason it seems that once you have kids Christmas seems so much more rewarding. Hope everyone had a great holiday, We love you. Love Damon, Summer, Malique and Mekhi. P. S. The last pic is just damon being his goofy self.

Happy Holidays

Just wanted to let everyone know how we are doing and show off the boys. Malique is 2 1/2 and he is getting so big. Of course he believes that he is in charge. He has to do everything himself, no one can offer him any help. And Mekhi is 1 1/2 and he is such a sweetheart. He adores his big brother (most of the time.) If they are not playing and enjoying each other, they are usually fighting over toys. They definitley keep me on my toes. But I wouldn't want it any other way. Happy Holidays everyone, Love The Wilkinson Crew

Live life, laugh often, and love much!
